I am a divorced , 68 year-old male, young-looking and fit. I have never done any drugs or abused my body, so it has stood up well to the passage of time. I am looking for a Hispanic female who is nice, has a lot of interests, and has taken care of herself. I have a big, beautiful home and have earned a great retirement. I plan on retiring in a few years, possibly to the Gulf Coast beaches or to Europe. I am currently working on plans to make 2025 the best year I have ever lived, and am looking for someone to share it with. Here are a few of the things that bring me happiness: - Walking in the woods on a beautiful autumn afternoon, enjoying the dappled sunshine and the hint of chill in the air. - A Gulf view of the sunset, as twilight is my most favorite time of day to be on the beach. - Listening to George Winston's "December" on a chilly Winter night, and remembering the great Decembers of the past. - Researching interesting places to see, like Ely Cathedral in England, and getting the chance to visit that 1000 year old place of worship. - Meeting my old friends from college, and swapping old stories about some of our most fascinating acquaintances (and some scoundrels as well). - A great Mexican restaurant meal at my favorite spot in town (Munoz in Trussville) with my son, and watching SEC football on their TV. - While we are on food, Marina Oyster Barn (Bayou Texar, Pensacola) grilled shrimp, homemade Cole slaw, and cold brews. - Holding the face of the one you love, and gazing into their eyes. - A visit to an interesting local attraction, like the Vulcan, which has amazed me from childhood. - A long talk with a vet from WWII or Korea, and listening to the things they saw and did, which are never found in the history books - Drinking beer in the rain, at midnight, in the Pizza de Saint Marcos in Venice. - Gathering information and writing chapters in my specialty collector's book, which I hope to publish in 2024. - A nice canoe trip on a warm summer day down the Blackwater River, with its sugar white sand and clear running water. - A ride on the carousel at the Birmingham zoo. (Yeah, I am still a kid at heart, and the music and ride take me back to a more carefree time.) - Working on a solid financial plan for retirement, and thinking about that retirement boat and beach condo. - Long, slow kisses that seem to never end. Those are a few things that bring me happiness. I hope to find someone who would like to share some similar experiences.

First things first - full disclosure, no beating around the bush... at the risk of being seen as shallow, I confess to believing that first impressions are lasting impressions. Yes, there's more to a good book than the cover, but the cover is what draws me into opening the book. Yes, beauty is only skin deep, but beauty is also in the eye of the beholder. Bottom line: it's the spark that lights the fire - physical attraction is important to me, as I'm sure it is to you, too. Without that initial spark, I'll never get the fire started... Now that that's out of the way... I'm inquisitive. I'm analytical. I enjoy tinkering and discovering the inner workings of stuff. I like to use both my hands and my mind - the hallmarks of a true problem solver. I'm told that I'm a pretty smart guy. I consider myself a Renaissance Man, but not quite a DaVinci. I know a little about a ton of things. But I also know a lot about a bunch of stuff, too. What's been a recurring theme in my life? That I'm good at teaching just about anything. I've taught everything from1st graders in the 80's about how to use Macs, to military brass how to keep their networks secure in the 21st century, and just about everything in between. I'm proud of my ability to break things down into simple English, but even more proud of my skill with other languages, too. I'm also just as comfortable on the playing field as in the classroom. I've competed, coached, and officiated at the highest levels. I guess I just like to explain stuff! Anything else?? Ask - I don't bite!!! :-) Travel, restoring vintage automobiles, golf, tennis, cycling, racquetball. Things I like: Silk sheets The aroma of freshly ground coffee Soft, smooth skin The smell of freshly cut grass The sound of waves crashing against rocks The subtle fragrance of perfume behind a woman’s earlobe The throaty roar of a muscle car’s engine The plunk of a golf ball as it drops into the cup at the end of a long, bending putt The swish of a basketball passing through the net The crack of the baseball as it flies off the bat on a home run. The sizzle of a tenderloin steak on a hot grill The reflection of two smiling faces off the gleaming surface of a vintage car The click of a camera as it captures that Kodak moment The crackle of a roaring fireplace The sparkle of the surface of the Adriatic The fragrance of freshly washed hair Sparkling eyes and a radiant smile Summer rain showers A clear night sky far from city lights The Boston skyline seen from the top of the Tobin bridge Suan La Chow Show Stuffed cabbage Kirk & Sweeney 23 Toscanini’s ice cream The Sunday crossword puzzle Things I don’t like: Anything Donald Trump Duck lips in photos Selfie sticks Overpowering perfume High maintenance Uncapped toothpaste Getting behind the wheel with the needle pointing to E Tardiness Forks, spoons, and knives unsorted in the dishwasher A cluttered bathroom vanity Anchovies Oily pizza Career politicians One-issue voters Investment bankers Health insurance companies Moral compasses that don’t point north Apathy Heartlessness Infidelity Dishonesty Political campaigns
