Hi, I'm Charles. I work for NASA in spacecraft flight software development. Several things I helped develop are in space now, including a lunar lander I helped develop. I helped develop the onboard software on the Artemis crew capsule that just launched to the moon. Currently developing for the Artemis missions to send astronauts to live on the moon for the first time in history (1st launch of astronauts was April 1st). Some other cool NASA projects I've developed: James Webb Space Telescope (jwst.nasa.gov). Mars Sample Return (mars.nasa.gov/msr) Recently worked up to being a millionaire. Met the 4 Artemis II astronauts who were the first to go back to the moon. Some things I do for fun: social events with friends, working out, enjoying the outdoors, karaoke, playing music, spending time with family, etc. I grew up playing classical piano, until a couple years after college. Last (and best) pieces I learned were Beethoven's Appassionata (1 and 3), Chopin's Ballade No. 1, and three by Debussy (Clair de Lune, Arabesque 1, Reverie). Then I focused my music hobby on modern popular music. I've been in a lot of bands over the years - mostly cover bands. For a few years I've been the leader of a cover band I put together with some friends - but it's currently on-hiatus and I'm not doing music now. Ancestrally, I'm: 1/8 English 1/8 Irish 1/8 Scotch-Irish 1/8 Swedish 1/4 Lebanese 1/4 Lithuanian Fun facts: --I have genes for blue eyes. Half my family has blue eyes. --I have a personal connection with Selena Gomez. My close friend in high school was best friends with Benny Blanco, who's now married to Selena Gomez.
